New Vegas is much older than windows 10 as it is, so we're lucky it's even compatible at this point. NV doesn't do well on my pc and it has 10. Not that it doesn't run the game up to speed, but the graphics are just primitive compared to graphics that windows 10 is designed to handle.
I'm having a sound issue in New Vegas where the game's ambient music constantly skips and makes weird popping/squelching noises. I've been searching online for over an hour now with no fix available, and I've verified my Steam cache repeatedly. I've ran the game both with and without mods, with and without the LAA (Large Address Awareness, forcing the game to recognize more than 2GB of RAM
So while snooping around the wasteland I found a Sheet Music Book.Those of you who played Fallout 3 might remember that they were used for a sidequest. However, I'm nearing the end of my first playthrough of New Vegas, and I've yet to find anyone wanting the item even though I've explored most of the map.

Oct 22, 2010. In my NV install directory (the steam version) I found mp3s of all the Fallout 1 and 2 music. On my machine they are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data\Music\Fallout1and2. Now I can listen to those classic tracks on my MP3 player!
Posted October 30, 2018. Audio stuttering is basically the same cause as video stuttering: interruptions to the feed. The CCCPack installs like any other program and there is nothing else for you to do. It provides possible codecs that some audio might have needed so it doesn't spend time searching for an alternative.
The 50s aesthetic and music is way overdone in the modern era Fallout games, but it does fit the Vegas theme better than in the other titles. I tolerate it because I really enjoy 50s music. #2. Brutal Sensualist Nov 3, 2022 @ 12:13pm. 8YoOvJB.
