Mount Trainer. This content was introduced in Festival of the Four Winds 2018 and is subsequently only available during the Festival of the Four Winds. (This NPC's appearance may change randomly.) Mount Trainers are Elonians found alongside various mounts at the Bazaar Docks and in the The Crown Pavilion during the Festival of the Four Winds.

1.1k. Posted December 14, 2017. You will have to do at least the intro story of PoF to get your first mount, the raptor. That should be done on a L80 character and doesn't take that long. Once you unlock the raptor, and the other mounts in the future, they will be available to all of your characters from then on.

306. Posted November 30, 2017. I like them all, and griffon is amazing, but Springer is downright my favourite as it's probably one of the most useful mounts. The vertical movement combined with griffon's air superiority and speed make for a great way to find new ways in and around hostile areas.

For players that are just starting out in GW2, if they want to get a mount, they have to figure out how to change the personal story and use their level 80 boost. Even if they do figure all of that out, asking to play the story out of sequence for someone new to GW2 is just not a good option at all.
